This is a data center divided into two phases, the facility includes two buildings. Here we were responsible for the main data hall and the main electrical room, which is also connected by cable trays to the generator yard. While working on this project, we had some laser scans from the project area. In addition to other trades, we had to coordinate with the scanned points and the position of the structures in which they were mounted.
For this project, BES provided:
- Medium Voltage Distribution Systems (modeling and coordinating cable tray, placing switchboards per submittals)
- High Voltage Distribution Systems (modeling and coordination cable trays)
- Low Voltage Distribution Systems (Modeling equipment as per submittals, distribution panels, raceways)
- Busduct systems (modeling 4000A and 2000A feeder and plugin busducts as per submittals and providing pre-fab details
- Standby Generation and UPS (Including openings layout for exact stub-ups location)
- Telecommunications systems (Modeling and coordination cable trays)
- Lighting fixtures (Provide families by submittal including necessary info, modeling interior and exterior lighting)
- Fire alarm (Vesda) system (modeling pipe, Vesda heads control panels)
